Merb faces and snouts are more pronounced, so I think at that angle, her snout would be sticking out further and more to her right, rather than sort of blending into her headshape and going to her left.
Also, maybe make her torso a little more large to fit it in proportionally? I mean, if you look at Stork, his body's not that tiny.
Anatomy, though it's not human in this particular case, is a key thing to know how to draw, y'know.

I hope Stork is a little more willing to go outside now, because he's sure as hell be missing out on something good.
